Welcome to the AMI Washington Chapter Website

Welcome to our new website. The AMI is a combination of monetary institute, think-tank and political action group with the goal of reforming the American Monetary System. We strongly feel the way our current financial system is setup is quite oppressive to the common American citizen.

We also feel that the congress has out-sourced their constitutional duty to issue and regulate our currency to the Federal Reserve System which is debt-based and highly inflationary over time so that is promotes taking risks through debt obligations and demotes saving income through constant devaluation by the means of our Factional Reserve System.

We hope you will join with us to help fix this situation and take back our constitutional right to a legal and sound dollar. We also welcome anyone who disagrees with our position to create an active and constructive discussion to promote education on basic monetary theory and how it applies to our daily lives.
